Glamping at AutoCamp

Our family enjoys camping and we have no problem ‘roughing it.’
However, AutoCamp recently invited us to try out ‘glamping’ in one of their luxurious Airstream Suites, and it was sooo nice!
We all agreed that we could definitely get used to this!

AutoCamp has a mission to help make it easier for people to get outdoors and enjoy some of the most beautiful locations in America.
We visited Yosemite, but there are also currently 5 other AutoCamp properties in locations including Joshua Tree, Zion and Cape Cod.
In addition to the Airstreams, AutoCamp also has luxurious tents, accessible suites and sometimes cabins.
The best part about glamping at AutoCamp is that you don’t need to bring much.

The Airstream kitchen area has a small refrigerator and microwave, sink, and all the dishes and cooking utensils that you need.

Outside, there’s a nice grill over the firepit that you can cook on, but we also opted to bring our camp stove.
We also brought an ice chest because we had more food than could fit in the small fridge.

All bedding and towels are provided.
There’s a queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa that folds out into a full bed.
There’s also a TV in the bedroom with the full line-up of cable channels.
We really enjoyed being able to let the kids watch a movie inside while Mom and Dad enjoyed some quiet time out by the fire!

Most importantly, the Airstreams are totally climate controlled with A/C or heat that you can set to your temperature preference, so you’re always comfy inside!

The bathroom is surprisingly roomy and has luxury hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

It sure was nice to have a private, hot shower at the end of a long day of hiking!

Outside, each suite has a firepit with grill, two chairs next to the fire, and a table with four chairs to eat at.

The AutoCamp property has lots of amenities for guests to enjoy.

We had fun playing corn hole and giant Jenga together,

and there’s a beautiful swimming pool that’s open seasonally!

There are also lots of cool places to relax and just enjoy the outdoors.

AutoCamp has a small cafe in the clubhouse if you don’t want to cook your own food, and they also sell ready-to-cook BBQ meals and s’mores kits.
In addition, every morning they provide a grab-and-go continental breakfast of granola and milk.
It was really yummy!

If you don’t want to fully leave the real world behind, AutoCamp has strong WiFi throughout the property.
Sherman Dad was able to participate in a Zoom meeting in the woods!

To get to Yosemite National Park from AutoCamp, it was an easy 45-60 minute drive –
the road was not too windy, so no one got sick.

Getting campground reservations in Yosemite is nearly impossible, and lodging inside the park is very expensive, so we were happy to find the perfect solution in AutoCamp –
all the fun of camping without roughing it, not a lot to pack, and easy access to the park.

Thank you AutoCamp, for making it so easy and enjoyable to visit Yosemite!
We can’t wait to try some of the other locations!
